About LISA COLLUM:
Speaking Topic: "The Power of Being a Woman Entrepreneur: Owning and Sharing Your Story"
Overview:
As a woman entrepreneur, your journey is unique, powerful, and deeply inspiring. In a world where women's voices in business are often underrepresented, telling your story is not just a personal act of empowerment but a vital contribution to the broader narrative of women in leadership. This talk will explore how your experiences—both struggles and successes—shape not only your brand but also pave the way for future women entrepreneurs. You will learn how storytelling creates authentic connections with clients, investors, and partners, amplifies your influence, and builds a legacy beyond just profit. By embracing your voice, you not only grow your business but also inspire a new generation of women to break barriers and reach their fullest potential.
BIO:
Lisa Collum is the founder and CEO of a multimillion-dollar curriculum company, Top Score Writing, Inc., and the owner of a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, Coastal Middle and High School. She developed her first writing curriculum while teaching in a low-performing Title I school, creating a systematic approach to helping students improve crucial writing skills. In the first year, Lisa’s step-by-step program increased the percentage of her students scoring at the proficiency level on state writing assessments from 38% to 95%, rising to 100% for the following two years. Due to the program’s success and starting with only $100 and a binder of 25 lessons, Lisa began selling the curriculum to others and grew Top Score Writing into a nationwide seven-figure business.
With a mission to serve children in her community, in 2016 Lisa bought a local private school and turned it into a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Coastal Middle and High School is a place for students who need a unique approach to their education. In addition to positively affecting thousands of students with her curriculum and school, Lisa has dedicated her career to helping fellow educators get the training and resources they need and inspiring other women entrepreneurs to create successful businesses of their own. When she’s not running her education companies or presenting as a keynote speaker, Lisa can be found cheering on the sidelines of her children’s games, giving back to the community, and spending quality family time with her husband and four children.

Today’s professionals are mobile, socially connected 24/7, quick to look for social proof, and overwhelmed by rapid changes in technology, AI, business, and the world. They include your various personas—influencers, champions, strategic partners, brand ambassadors, and customers.
Buyers and candidates research, validate, and engage differently. They want quick access, valuable insight, and customer-focused content.
LinkedIn is more important than ever. Why? In a world of misinformation and synthetic data, a verified LinkedIn account creates credibility and trust.
No other platform provides the opportunity for professional connections with buyers and candidates long before they make a decision, and allows you and your team to demonstrate value and maintain ongoing, relevant connections over the lifetime of your relationship.
This interactive workshop will provide a combination of strategy and how-to so that everyone can increase their LinkedIn effectiveness, whether they are a novice or power user. Each workshop is framed around our It’s Business, Not Social[TM] method which includes how to:
● Develop your professional brand
● Nurture and expand your current network
● Engage with insights
● Spark conversation and convert
