Mary Ann Scully is the Dean of Loyola University Maryland’s Sellinger School of Business and Management. With a focus on aligning academic excellence with the evolving needs of employers and students, she brings a fresh perspective shaped by her extensive executive experience and deep business connections.

As a successful entrepreneur and “intrapreneur,” Mary Ann co-founded and led Howard Bank, growing it into the largest locally headquartered bank in Greater Baltimore before its merger with FNB of Pennsylvania in 2022. With over 40 years in banking, she’s driven both organic growth and strategic acquisitions, building a $2 billion asset powerhouse.

Beyond her professional achievements, Mary Ann is deeply involved in the community, serving on various boards, including Enoch Pratt Library and Capital Bancorp. Her leadership has been widely recognized, including a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Baltimore Business Journal and induction into the Maryland Business Hall of Fame.

Mary Ann holds an MBA from Loyola University and a BA from Seton Hill University, where she’s honored as a Distinguished Alumna.
